Overview

Travel/contract role in Issaquah, Washington
26-week contract
Night shift: 4x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
48 hours per week
Locals accepted at the same rate
First-time travelers accepted

Unit and patient care

Labor and Delivery unit with 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
Patient diagnoses include labor and preterm labor
Role includes circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrub, low risk antepartum, and low risk LD
Special procedures include blood/blood products administration, cardioversion/defibrillation, cooling/warming blanket, drains, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, wound vac, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
Special equipment includes attending all deliveries, attending high risk deliveries, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low risk antepartum, and transition nursery
Staffing ratio: 1:1–3
Float scope includes Post-Partum and possibly L&D at Swedish First Hill

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Washington
Labor and Delivery experience with 2 years of experience
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
FHM
NRP
AWHONN Intermediate
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Scheduling notes

May request up to 2 major holidays off
Travelers are required to work 1 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
