Schedule

• Shift: Night, 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00-07:30
• Hours: 12 per day, 36 per week, guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12s
• Weekends: 2 shifts every other weekend. Night shift weekends are Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, depending on rotation.
• Block schedule: Not accepted
• On-call: Not required
• RTO restrictions: None

Required Qualifications

• Valid, active RN license in Missouri, verified through Nursys (Missouri licenses are only verifiable through Nursys). Pending license accepted.
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience
• PCU experience within the last year
• Telemetry experience
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS certification accepted from AHA, Apex, or NIHSS, updated annually unless the certificate lists a 2-year expiration

  • Certificates of completion are accepted for up to 1 month until the official card is issued.

Onboarding and Compliance

• Background: Criminal background check within 6 months of start (7-year search). Also required: exclusion list checks (EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG, run quarterly), a Missouri EDL search, and a Missouri Highway Patrol check (renewed annually).
• Education: Verification of highest nursing education (diploma or transcript accepted if verification is unavailable).
• Drug screen: Within 1 year of start and must not expire during assignment. Panel includes amphetamines, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, opiates, oxycodone, and PCP.
• TB: Two negative PPDs (first within 1 year, second within 30 days of start), or a T-Spot or Q-Gold within 1 year of start.
• Immunizations: Documented immunity or vaccines for rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella. Tdap vaccine or declination. Hepatitis B declination (not required to be vaccinated).
• Flu: Vaccine or medical/religious exemption required during flu season (10/01 to 03/31).
• Physical exam: Within 1 year of start.
• Fit testing: Required annually. Acceptable N95 models are 3M VFlex 1804 and 3M 1860. Candidates must have facial hair that allows proper testing.
• Orientation: Online modules through WorkRamp, about 16 hours, must be completed before start. Regulatory compliance education requires a score of 80% or higher.
• Documents: Government-issued ID, employment application, two professional references (supervisors within the last year preferred), badge photo taken within 6 months of start, HIPAA acknowledgement, confidentiality form, latex allergy questionnaire, SSN and DOB confirmation, TB questionnaire, hand hygiene and dress code policy sign-off, and fingernail policy acknowledgement (non-compliance may result in being sent home from shifts).
• Skills: Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year of start.

• Float: Within scope to meet facility needs, including Telemetry.
• Local candidates: Not accepted (75-mile local radius rule).
• First-time travelers: Accepted.
