Role Overview

• Travel/contract role in the CVPICU/Cardiac Stepdown unit
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Floating is required
• Every other weekend is scheduled, subject to change based on RTO and unit needs
• RTO in the signed contract will be honored

Required Qualifications

• OH State license required for RRTs
• 2 supervisory references required; charge nurses count as only 1 reference
• Current government-issued photo ID required within 24–48 hours of signing
• Legal name must match RN or allied license and certifications
• Address must match NOVA and the affiliating health record
• For RRTs, the address/location on the driver’s license must match the location listed on the RRT license
• Criminal background check within 30 days of start
• Education verification required
• International background check required if the traveler has lived/worked internationally in the past 7 years
• EPLS/GSA/SAM search required within 30 days of start
• HHS/OIG search required within 30 days of start
• Fingerprinting required within 60 days of start
• Sex offender search required within 30 days of start
• Ohio Nurse Aide Registry search required within 30 days of start
• Ohio Inmate Registry search required within 30 days of start
• Ohio Medicaid Exemption search required within 30 days of start
• Ohio State Abuse Registry search required within 30 days of start
• ACLS required
• BLS required
• PALS required
• NRP required
• TNCC required
• ENPC required
• National tech certification verification required
• State license verification required
• NURSYS verification required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam required
• Competency exam required
• Infection Control Policy must be reviewed and signed prior to start
• Fingerprinting proof of submission required
• Fit test proof appointment required if completing fit test onsite
• TB form required if not completing a new TB test for the assignment
• Fingerprint screening questions required prior to start
• Code of Conduct required prior to start
• Confidentiality and IT Use Agreement required prior to start
• Affiliating Health Record required
• CTICU Standards required for CTICU–CVPICU
• Social Media Policy required prior to start
• Physical exam required
• Fit mask documentation required
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap documentation required
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• TB questionnaire required
• Rubeola (Measles) documentation required
• Mumps documentation required
• Rubella documentation required
• Hepatitis B documentation required
• Varicella documentation required
