Overview

Travel/Contract role in Huntington, West Virginia
17-week contract
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
40 guaranteed hours per week
18 ORs
Short Term Acute Care, Major Teaching Hospital, Level II Trauma
330 staffed beds

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (1 year of experience)
Certified Surgical Technologist experience within the last year
CST
Experience working with Orthopedics patients
Experience working with Neuro patients
Experience with orthospine surgery
Experience with neurosurgery
WV license must be active before start
First-timers accepted
Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius

Schedule and On-Call

At least one weekend per month
On-call required: pickup two call shifts

Additional Notes

Can submit with a pending state license, but cannot start until the permanent WV license is active
Does not float within scope to meet facility needs
Does not float to sister facilities
Block scheduling is not accommodated
Green scrubs are provided for travelers
Parking is free for travelers
