Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (Outpatient) - Travel/Contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Washington
• Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapist experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in an Outpatient setting
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Job Details

• Floating may be required as needed within the scope of practice
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Meditech
• Locals allowed to apply
• Start date: ASAP

Compliance and Documentation Requirements

• Background checks including SSN trace, nationwide and state-specific searches, and sanction screenings must be clear and updated as required
• Physical exam within 1 year of start date
• Immunizations and health screenings required:

  • Tdap (within 10 years) or declination form
  • Negative TB test (QGold or TSpot within 12 months) or chest X-ray if history of positive TB
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) titer or completed series, or declination form
  • Hepatitis B titer or vaccination series/declination
  • Varicella titer or completed series
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination (mask required if declined during flu season)
  • COVID vaccination series or declination
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug test including marijuana within 1 year of start
• Professional references: 2 within last 3 years
• Annual skills checklist and competency exams as applicable
• Photo for badge required

Additional Notes

• Driver’s license or government-issued photo ID required
• Washington state mandates WATCH clearance within 90 days prior to start
• Fit mask testing required annually for clinical positions (can be completed onsite if necessary)

This position offers a structured weekday schedule with no call and supports first-time travel therapists. The facility uses Meditech EMR and requires standard healthcare compliance documentation and immunizations.
