Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology (Travel/Contract)

Location: Beaufort, South Carolina
Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in specialty
• Prior Travel Experience: Not required (1st time travelers accepted)
• Work Schedule:

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Weekdays, every other weekend, on call
• Travel Radius Restriction: 50 mile radius

Certifications & Licenses Required

• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• SCRQSA, ARRT certifications required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – AHA only (required for Cath Lab, ER/ED, ICU, OR, PACU)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only
• Other certifications as applicable (e.g., PALS, NRP, Chemo cert, CST) depending on role specifics
• State License verification and NURSYS verification (for RNs)

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to circulate and scrub in procedures
• Experience with Meditech EMR system
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable
• Core competency exams and orientation safety manual acknowledgement

Health & Background Requirements

• Physical exam attesting ability to meet physical demands
• Immunizations and titers: Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
• Drug testing (10 panel) within required timeframe
• Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination
• COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination
• Criminal background check within 6 months (or 30 days for new candidates)
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start and updated for renewals

Documentation & Other Requirements

• Proof of I9 or attestation
• Government issued photo ID carried during hours of service
• E-Verify proof or attestation
• Residency declaration form if working on a compact license
• References: 2 clinical references or hospital evaluations
• Performance evaluations if previously completed assignments through any agency
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Facility-specific documents including job description, employee health questionnaire, vaccine declination forms, confidentiality agreements, and photo for badge
• Completion of Relias program modules (~81 modules) prior to first shift and orientation

This position is suitable for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in Radiology/Cardiology who are comfortable with the required certifications and documentation. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
