Job Opportunity: Therapy/Rehabilitation - Travel/Contract

Location: Corning, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Work schedule options: 4x10 hour shifts or 5x8 hour shifts
• Patient scheduling: One patient at a time (no double bookings)
• Evaluation time: 1 hour per evaluation
• Follow-ups: 30 minutes standard; 1 hour for complex patients (therapist’s discretion)
• Patient population: Young adults through geriatrics in an outpatient clinic setting
• Focus areas:

  • Orthopedic/musculoskeletal (sports injuries, post-surgical, chronic pain)
  • Neurological (CVA recovery)
  • Geriatric care (fall screens, balance training, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis)

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• State License

Experience Requirements

• Specialty: Therapy/Rehabilitation

Compliance & Documentation Requirements

• Drug screening: Negative 9-panel drug screen within 90 days of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption during flu season
• COVID vaccination: 2 doses required or approved exemption (booster not required)
• Respirator Safety Clearance prior to start
• Two professional references required
• Employment application required
• Unit-specific skills checklist within 1 year, updated annually (as applicable)
