Position Details

- Local Radius Rule: 50 miles (locals not accepted)

Experience Requirements
- Years of Experience Required: 4 years
- Preferred Experience: PICU, NICU, and Adult ICU experience preferred

Additional Requirements & Information
- Licensing: Must have Alaska State License prior to start; compact license accepted temporarily with proof of AK application
- Background Checks: Standard background check within 90 days, including SS trace and county searches for last 7 years
- Health Documents:
- Physical exam (renewed annually)
- Fit mask test (approved facility mask, renewed annually, must be done prior to arrival)
- Proof of immunizations or titers for: TDAP, Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- Drug testing (10-panel, within 30 days of start)
- Seasonal flu vaccination or medical exemption required during flu season
- COVID vaccine required (initial series or approved alternatives; medical exemptions accepted with doctor’s letter; no declinations or religious exemptions)
- Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency exam and general competency exam required
- Facility Specific Documents: Various forms including badge form, confidentiality statement, orientation handbook, and others must be completed prior to start
- References: Two clinical references required
- Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist required
