Role Overview

• Travel/Contract NICU RN in Greenville, South Carolina
• Night shift: 4x12s, 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract
• Weekend coverage: every other weekend unless the need changes
• Float to other NICU units or facilities if needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care (2 years of experience)
• NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• STABLE
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Clinical Details

• Patient population includes babies 22 weeks gestation and greater
• Diagnoses include abdominal wall defects, HIE, RDS/RFS, drug exposure/withdrawal, hypoglycemia, sepsis, TEF, duodenal atresia, diaphragmatic hernia, urethral stenosis, myelomeningocele, and ROP
• Special procedures include full body cooling, chest tubes, surgical repair of all anomalies except cardiac, tracheostomy management, Avastin administration, and laser eye surgery
• Special equipment includes Artic Sun, Blanketroll, Jet Ventilator, HFOV, Draeger Ventilator, HFNC, Bubble CPAP, Alaris, Philips central, B Braun feeding pumps, Infinity feeding pumps, Atom Dual Incubators, GE Dual Incubators, Dreager Caleos, radiant warmers, external shunt, and ostomy

Schedule Notes

• Option to work 4x12s with no call or 3x12s with call
• If working 3x12s, call requirement is at least 1 twelve-hour call shift bi-weekly
