Skilled Home Care setting
Patients may include cardiopulmonary assessment, basic wound care, ABI compression dressing, wound vac dressing, Pleurx /Aseptdrain care, foley catheter change and care, staple/suture removal, glucometer use, pro-time machine use, SQ/IM injections, lab draw venipuncture, IV skills, PICC line or Midline care and dressing change, and SQ port access/deaccess
Home skilled visits: 6–8 per day
Visits and hours are self-scheduled based on the needs of the HomeCare office
Shift options may vary, including Mon–Fri 8a–5p, Mon–Fri 9a–6p, Thurs–Mon or Fri–Tues, and alternating weekends
Scrubs: any solid color
Laptop, MiFi for internet access, and portable printers are used
BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation system are used
