Medical Surgical RN

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Battle Creek, Michigan
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
36 or 48 hours per week available
Contract length: 13 weeks
ASAP start desired
Must be available for the first 2 weeks of assignment for orientation
Every other weekend required
Cannot guarantee or approve block scheduling
Float scope: may float to other Med Surg units

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Michigan
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg experience within the last year
1 year of Med Surg experience
BLS issued by American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of Med/Surg experience

Unit / Patient Population

Medical patients with a mix of specialties, including ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patients such as GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies
Staffing ratio: 1:5–6 on nights; may flex to 7–8 with RN paired with LPN support
