Overview

• Travel/contract role in San Leandro, California
• Winter coverage only: 11/2–2/27
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:00
• Every other weekend
• No call
• Float as needed
• Expected to work 2 of the 3 major holidays
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

• 7 days of RTO outside the blackout dates may be automatically approved

Compliance / Onboarding

• Orientation safety manual acknowledgement required
• NURSYS verification required
• Physical exam required within 90 days of start
• Fit mask required within 90 days of start
• Tdap required within 10 years of start or signed declination
• Negative TB or chest X-ray required
• TB questionnaire required
• Rubeola, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Hepatitis B immunity/vaccination documentation required
• Oral saliva drug screen required within 30 days of start
• Medical and employee information release form required
• Flu vaccination or declination required during flu season
• Color blind exam required within 90 days of start
• Employment application required
• Work history verification required for the past 3 years
