Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Assignment length: 26 weeks
- Traveler choice for schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s
- Traveler choice for assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Magnesium experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Managing 4 couplets (high census postpartum patient load)
- Experience with Epic
Unit Details
- High-volume, high-census postpartum unit
- May be asked to manage a 4th couplet during census surge
- Standard patient load is 4 couplets
Floating
- Floating required to postpartum at Issaquah Campus and Edmonds Campus
- May also float to Labor and Delivery for the 2nd hour of recovery
Additional Experience / Preferences
- First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
- Experience with magnesium, Pitocin, Foley, postpartum hemorrhage, and substance withdrawal is required
- JADA experience is preferred
