Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience
Schedule and Assignment Details
- 8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
- Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments may be required
- Floating is required within scope; this is a float pool position with no home unit
- May float among Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU units and to other metro campuses as needed
- On-call is not required
- Block scheduling is not accommodated
- Requested time off is limited to 7 days
Clinical Focus
- Med/Surg telemetry
- Telemetry and cardiac telemetry
- Neuro stepdown
- Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
- Pre/post cardiac cath
- Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, stroke, COVID
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS

- Special requirements include virtual nurses, 12-lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, and Omnicell
