Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Kansas
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg / Telemetry experience

Schedule and Assignment Details

8 weekend shifts in each 6-week schedule period
Holiday shifts and charge RN assignments may be required
Floating is required within scope; this is a float pool position with no home unit
May float among Med/Surg Intermediate and PCU units and to other metro campuses as needed
On-call is not required
Block scheduling is not accommodated
Requested time off is limited to 7 days

Med/Surg telemetry
Telemetry and cardiac telemetry
Neuro stepdown
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Pre/post cardiac cath
Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, renal failure, AFIB, GIB, stroke, COVID

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS

Additional Notes

Special requirements include virtual nurses, 12-lead EKG, AirVo, Voalte, and Omnicell
