Job Overview

• Location: Jefferson City, Missouri
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Unit: Med Surg
• Patient population: Adults and geriatrics

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• 50% holiday rotation required
• Floating is required
• Rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and work during inclement weather may be required
• Must be able to work the full contract term, assigned weekends, take call, and work at least half of the holidays during the contract

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Med Surg (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS

Additional Notes

• No locals within 50 miles
• Physical demands include ambulating, reaching, and moving objects over 20 lbs
• Role involves routine exposure to contagious illnesses
