Registered Nurse PCU

Location

Augusta, Georgia

Assignment Details

Travel/contract role
16-week contract
Night shift, 3x12 hours
36 hours per week
Patient population: adolescents to geriatrics
Unit setting: PCU-level patients with neuro/stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and mixed medical cases
Continuous telemetry monitoring required
Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
Every other weekend expected
No call
Locals accepted

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Georgia
PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Ratio: 1:4
36 beds
Average daily census: 30
No block scheduling
Navy blue scrubs
