Operating Room Nurse

Overview

Travel/contract role in Worcester, Massachusetts
13-week assignment
Day shift: 4x10 hours, 11:00 to 23:30
40 hours per week

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Massachusetts
OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Scrub experience
Transplant experience
Neuro experience
Trauma experience
Vascular Surgery experience
Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience

Schedule and Call

Shift pattern includes 2 twelve-hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:00 and 2 eight-hour shifts from 15:00 to 23:00
Call rotation: 1 night every third weekend

Orientation and Testing

Pass/fail medication exam required during in-person orientation
Only one attempt is allowed
Failure results in immediate contract cancellation
Study materials are provided

Additional Notes

Valid photo ID is required
Two references are required within three years of start
Employment history must cover 7 years, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
