Operating Room Nurse
Overview
- Travel/contract role in Worcester, Massachusetts
- 13-week assignment
- Day shift: 4x10 hours, 11:00 to 23:30
- 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
- OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Scrub experience
- Transplant experience
- Neuro experience
- Trauma experience
- Vascular Surgery experience
- Pediatrics OR - Operating Room experience
Schedule and Call
- Shift pattern includes 2 twelve-hour shifts from 11:00 to 23:00 and 2 eight-hour shifts from 15:00 to 23:00
- Call rotation: 1 night every third weekend
Orientation and Testing
- Pass/fail medication exam required during in-person orientation
- Only one attempt is allowed
- Failure results in immediate contract cancellation
- Study materials are provided
Additional Notes
- Valid photo ID is required
- Two references are required within three years of start
- Employment history must cover 7 years, with explanations for gaps over 30 days
