Assignment Details

• Location: Seattle, Washington
• Setting: Behavioral health / psychiatric unit
• Contract length: 26 weeks
• Shift: Days, 3x12 hours, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
• On-call: Not required
• Block scheduling: Not accommodated
• Floating: May be expected to float across 3 units as needed
• First-time travelers: Accepted with strong experience
• Local candidates: Accepted
• Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per every 2-week pay period

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Behavioral Health (2 years of experience)
• Behavioral Health experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI

Unit Notes

• The assignment may involve care for patients with mental illness, violent or assaultive behaviors, psychiatric crisis, involuntary detention, and co-morbid medical problems.
• The unit structure includes three behavioral health units with varying acuity and staffing ratios.
