Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant
Location
- Redding, California
- In-person school-based assignment serving multiple school sites in Trinity County and Shasta County, or four school sites in Shasta County
Contract
- 13 weeks
- Start date: August 12, 2026
- Expected to cover the full school year if possible, through May 28, 2027
Schedule
- 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday
- 8-hour day shift, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Role Overview
- Provide pediatric and school-based occupational therapy services
- Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluation, treatment program design, and implementation
- Travel between school sites is required
- Reimbursed mileage and travel time are paid
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in California
- Bachelor's degree
- Driver's License

- Background check
- Fingerprinting
- Physical exam within 12 months of start
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start
- Drug screen within 12 months of start
- Two professional references within 3 years of hire
- Skills checklist
- State license verification
- National certification/verification, as applicable by profession and state
- Orientation safety manual acknowledgment
- Competency exam, as applicable to profession/specialty
Health Documentation
- Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, and seasonal flu documentation as specified by client guidelines
