Registered Nurse (MS/Telemetry/Behavioral Health) - Travel/Contract

Location: Fayetteville, North Carolina
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (3 shifts per week, 12 hours each, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Details

• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 5-6 patients
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Floating: Required to float within scope to meet facility needs between like units
• Block Scheduling: Not accommodated
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (50-mile radius rule)
• Pending License: Not accepted
• Return Staff Policy: Must be off assignment for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Contract Limit: Maximum of 2 contracts (one extension allowed), then must be off for 6 months before returning
• Guaranteed Hours: Call-off policy allows 2 shifts off per 13-week assignment; all contracted shifts beyond that are guaranteed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• Recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Scheduling & Work Conditions

• Night shift, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each
• Floating between similar units required
• Weekend work every other weekend required
• No block scheduling available

• Locals within 50 miles are not accepted for this travel assignment
• Candidates must meet all health and background screening requirements before start
• Facility has strict policies on contract limits and return staff eligibility
• Flu vaccine declinations are not accepted unless approved by facility with proper exemption documentation
• Candidates must be prepared for floating and weekend work as part of the assignment
