Cath Lab Registered Nurse - Travel/Contract
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Work 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Assigned to Cath Lab PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Responsibilities include cath lab recovery care, specifically groin site management
- Recovery patients range from general anesthesia to moderate sedation
- No call and no weekend shifts
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
- Critical care nursing experience
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Additional Information
- No prior travel experience explicitly required
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests required as applicable
- Orientation safety manual and HIPAA acknowledgement required
- Fingerprinting may be required onsite during orientation for certain states (not Oklahoma)
- References are not required for clearance but may be requested internally
