Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ER

Location: Woodward, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)
• On Call: Rotating weekend call
• Unit: Emergency Room (ER)
• Patient Census: Average daily census 25-30
• Staffed Beds: 10
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio:

  • Days: 1:2.5
  • Nights: 1:2.5
  • Weekends: 1:5
• Floating: Required within scope to sister facilities

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in an acute care setting
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification
• ESI certification

Additional Information

• Local Radius Rule: Candidate must live more than 75 miles from the facility (locals not accepted)
• Return to Office (RTO) Restrictions: No more than 5 days allowed
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Orientation:

  • Patient Care Orientation Class (Skills) mandatory
  • EPIC training required if no EPIC experience within last 6 months
• Facility Specific Requirements:

  • Fit testing for N95 mask required annually
  • Completion of facility policy acknowledgments and ethical business conduct forms prior to start
  • Fingerprinting and state-specific screening clearance required before start
• Floating: May be required to float to sister facilities within scope of practice
