Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Location: Medford, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks
Job Details
- Specialty: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics
- Shift Requirements:
- Weekends required (Friday night shift extends into Saturday morning)
- Block schedules required
- Float: No floating between units
- On-call: Not required
- Patient Ratio: 2:1
- Charting System: Epic
- Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care
- Total Beds: 108
- Scrub Policy: Any color for RN/Allied; scrubs provided for OR, Critical Care, ED, PACU, and Maternal Child units
Required Qualifications
- Valid Polysomnographer license in Oregon
- Minimum of 1 year of Polysomnographer experience
- Polysomnographer experience within the last year
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in specialty (Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics) required
- No explicit prior travel experience required
Background and Compliance
- Background check within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years
- Education verification required
- Employment application covering at least last 5 years
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within last 3 years in comparable specialty/setting
- Various state-specific background and registry checks as applicable
Additional Requirements
- Completion of required WorkRamp modules and facility-specific training prior to start
- Float policy acknowledgment (may be required to float within reasonable distance)
- Badge photo (passport style with neutral background) required
- Annual regulatory and specialty-specific modules required for travel and per diem staff
Notes
- Parking is free at the facility
- Scrubs are provided for certain units; otherwise, any color scrubs allowed for allied staff
- This position uses Epic for charting
