Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- Occasional weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's degree
- Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
- Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
- New York State Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist license
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred (not required)
Experience

Background and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal background check covering the past 7 years, including all aliases
- Education verification with primary source verification of all degrees
- Various federal and state exclusion and sanction list checks

- Physical exam within 12 months of start, including vital signs and clearance to work without restrictions
- Fit mask test (N95) within 1 year prior to start
- Immunizations and health screenings including:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray as applicable
- Vaccinations or immunity proof for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella
- Hepatitis B and C screening or declination documentation
- Seasonal flu vaccination required during flu season (Sept-May)
- Vision screening within 12 months of start
- Completion of required training modules and orientation checklists
Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA verified
- BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA verified
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA verified
Additional Requirements
- 20-year employment and work history verification with no gaps
- Professional references: 2 for travel/allied/per diem acute care; 1 for per diem non-acute care
- Signed confidentiality agreement, staff attestation, and harassment factsheet prior to start
- Completion of facility-specific orientation and safety training
- Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable

- All background checks and verifications must be completed within 60 days prior to assignment start
- Some health and compliance requirements may be waived for fully remote or non-patient-facing roles, but this position requires onsite presence
- Failure to meet immunization or health screening requirements may result in removal from assignment
