Job Opportunity: Sterile Processing Tech

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 17 weeks

Job Description

• 2 years of experience required in Surgical Services or related field.
• Assignment length is 17 weeks with no extensions allowed.
• Rotating weekends every other week.
• Holidays as assigned.
• Productivity requirement: Complete 800 instruments per shift (tray count varies based on instrument quantity).
• Orientation during the first week (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM).

Required Qualifications

• Sterile Processing Technician with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Sterile Processing Technician experience within the last year.

Additional Requirements

• Minimum of 1 professional reference from management and 1 employment verification covering 1 year of experience within the past 2 years.
• Employment application and unit-specific skills checklist must be submitted.
• Facility-specific documents including photo for badge, compliance checklists, fingernail policy, and online training modules must be completed prior to orientation.
• Flu exemption forms must be submitted by specified deadlines if applicable.
