Job Opportunity: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (Night Shift)
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Nights
- Hours: Option of 36 or 48 hours per week
- Float required
- Weekends as needed
- Patient Population: Stroke patients and surgery patients
- Telemetry central monitoring tech available 24/7 (no need to interpret dysrhythmias)
Requirements/Qualifications
- Valid RN license in New Mexico
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CHEMO - Chemotherapy certification
- TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
- NIH Stroke Certification
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Additional Information
- Scrub color: Any color, no logos
- References: Not required for clearance but professional references may be requested internally
- Orientation and training required before starting work
- Fingerprinting must be completed prior to starting work; clearance required before working on unit
