Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) will deliver quality nursing care through the nursing process and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing standards. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing the physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients.
• Planning and implementing nursing care based on patient and family needs.
• Making appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs.
• Evaluating patient responses to nursing interventions.
• Assuming personal responsibility for quality patient care and professional development.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; completion of at least 1 travel assignment.
• Licensure: Michigan RN license verification required.
• EMR Experience: Paragon EMR experience is highly preferred.
• Certifications: ACLS certification preferred.

Additional Information

• Attendance Policy: McLaren Macomb has a strict attendance policy. Any RN contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated.
• Dress Code: Matching scrubs required.
• References: Not required, but a skills checklist completed within one year of application for RN specialties is required.
