Job Opportunity: X-Ray Technologist (Travel)

Location: Elyria, Ohio
Contract Length: 12 weeks

Job Summary

• Perform diagnostic X-rays in a hospital setting, including outpatients, inpatients, and Emergency Department patients.
• Duties include portable imaging and may include fluoroscopy and surgery.
• Orientation will be provided.
• Work may include holidays.

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Valid Ohio Department of Health (ODH) license (permanent, no temporary licenses accepted)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Experience Requirements

• Experience as a Radiographer required (no specific years stated, but experience is mandatory)

Immunizations & Health Requirements

• COVID-19 vaccine proof preferred but not required
• Positive MMR titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination series or signed declination form
• Positive Varicella titers within last 15 years or appropriate booster schedule
• Tdap vaccination within last 10 years (no declinations accepted)
• Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Oct-Mar) or completion of specific declination and masking forms
• 2-Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test with negative results within last 6 months; if positive, clear chest X-ray and current TB questionnaire required
• Physical exam within one year prior to start, confirming ability to work without restrictions

Background & Verification Requirements

• Primary source verification of professional licenses and certifications within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration
• Ohio fingerprinting and criminal background checks (requirements vary based on length of Ohio residency)
• National criminal background check including sex offender registry within 6 months prior to start
• Social Security trace and employment verification within last 5 years
• Education verification (including equivalency for international education)
• Drug screen within 60 days prior to start (10-panel, lab report required; instant screens not accepted)
• OIG, SAM/EPLS/GSA/OFAC federal exclusion checks within 6 months prior to start
• Competency exams and core competencies (HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission) with minimum 80% passing score, completed within 1 year prior to start
• Skills checklist specific to clinical area completed within 1 year prior to start
• Completion of required safety and compliance training modules prior to clearance

• Resume including education and work history
• Two professional references within last 2 years
• Job application and employment history form specific to the hospital system
• Recent badge photo (shoulders up, plain background, JPEG format)
