Ultrasound Technician - Rhode Island (Warwick)
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, Monday to Friday, occasional weekends on rotation
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
- Employment Type: Long-term assignment (LTA)
- Experience: Vascular ultrasound experience helpful but not required; breast ultrasound experience helpful but not required
- Certifications: RDMS or RVT not necessary
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- Recent Ultrasound Technologist experience within the last year
- Valid professional license for Ultrasound Technician (Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration)
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination series or bivalent booster (medical exemptions require prior approval)
- Proof of MMR immunity (2 immunizations or positive titer)
- Fit test for N95 mask (3M 9205+, 1870+, 8210, or 8210+) within one year prior to start
- Hepatitis B vaccination series completed or declination (titers not accepted)
- Proof of 2-step PPD skin test or one IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) completed within the last year
- Proof of Varicella immunity (2 immunizations or positive titer)
- Proof of Tdap immunization within the last 10 years
- Valid driver’s license or state ID
- Criminal background check (Federal, County, National, Statewide with OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM searches) within 6 months of start
- Employment verification for the last 5 years
- Professional references: minimum of 2, including at least 1 supervisory reference
- Resume or professional profile submission required
- Completion of required orientation, confidentiality agreement, work attestation, and clearance forms prior to start
- Badge photo with neutral background required for credentialing
Additional Information
- Influenza vaccine is optional but required during flu season (9/1/25 - 5/31/26) with no exemptions allowed
- If history of positive PPD or TB blood test, must provide negative chest X-ray and annual TB questionnaire or equivalent documentation
- Annual completion of COVID and flu policy form required
