Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical – Boston, Massachusetts
Position Details
- Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating day and night shifts
- Work Pattern: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Prior Travel Experience: Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 1 year of Medical/Surgical nursing experience within the last year
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
Additional Notes
- Fit testing cannot be performed onsite; must be completed prior to start
- Positive TB test requires documentation of a negative chest x-ray dated after the positive test
- Name change documentation required if credential names do not match legal name or profile
- Some health and background checks have specific update requirements if there is a break in service
- No religious or medical exemptions allowed for fit testing
- Certain locations may have specific preferences for certification types (e.g., AHA preferred)
