Job Description
Perform duties as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) specializing in X-Ray imaging.
Required Qualifications
- Valid X-Ray Technician license in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Recent X-Ray Technician experience within the last year
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA, Red Cross, CHSF, or Military
- Documentation of immunity or vaccination for MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- TB test documentation within 3 months of start date (skin test or blood test)
- Health statement signed by a licensed provider within 1 year of start date
- Fit testing for N95 respirator within 1 year of start date, updated annually
- Respirator Medical Clearance attestation if fit test is required
- Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start
- Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start
- National sex offender registry check within 30 days prior to start
- Exclusion checks (OIG, GSA, Medicaid) within 30 days prior to start and annually
- Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state
- Two professional references within 4 years, including at least one supervisor or higher
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Confirmation of assignment form upon acceptance and for extensions
- Education verification through background check company
- Social Security Number trace for past 7 years
- Candidate submission coversheet for initial assignment
Additional Notes
- Hepatitis B vaccination or immunity is strongly preferred but optional.
- Tdap vaccination within 10 years is preferred but optional.
- If positive TB test, documentation of a negative chest x-ray is required.
- Name change documentation may be required if legal name differs from credential documentation.
- No prior travel experience explicitly required.
This position requires compliance with all health, licensing, and background verification standards prior to start date.
