Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - ICU (Travel)

Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Block Schedule: Not allowed
Float Requirements: May float to Telemetry or Emergency Department; may assist as an aide if needed
On Call/Call Back: None
Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly (1 cancellation allowed per 2-week period)
Orientation: Bi-weekly, 12 hours non-billable orientation; GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week

Unit Information

ICU: 12 beds, patient ratio 1:2/3
Telemetry: 24 beds, patient ratio 1:5

Required Qualifications

Active Illinois RN License
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Minimum 2 years of experience with strong telemetry and ICU skills
Prior travel experience required (at least one completed travel contract)
Charting experience with Meditech highly preferred
COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical/religious exemption

Additional Information

No return to office (RTO) over 7 days accepted
Candidates should be hard-working, resilient, adaptable to change, and social
