Ultrasound Technician Travel Position
Location: Duluth, Minnesota
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM (8-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40 hours guaranteed (except during holidays when unit is closed)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Description
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures including inpatient, outpatient, and emergency room cases.
- Conduct minor procedures such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, fine needle aspirations (FNA), and biopsies.
- Charting experience required with Epic electronic health record system.
- Potential weekday on-call with a 30-minute response time; call back minimum of 2 hours.
- Weekend and holiday rotations as needed.
- Must be located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility at the time of assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of ultrasound technology experience.
- Graduate of a 2-year radiologic technology program, or ultrasound technology program, or Registered Radiologic Technologist Sonographer (AART).
- Required certifications/licenses: RVT-VT, OB-GYN, ARDMS, ARRT, ABDOMEN.

- Low census weeks may include up to 36 hours of unbillable time.
- No float requirements.
