Job Details

• Shift Schedule:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 PM – 6:00 AM
  • Friday: 8:30 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Sunday: 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly, overtime after 80 hours in the second week
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend in rotation
• Holiday Coverage: Every other rotation
• Float Requirements: None
• On Call/Call Back: Possible low census call; minimum 2-hour callback

Requirements

• Licensure: Wisconsin Pharmacist License required
• Education: Doctorate of Pharmacy preferred but not required
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital experience preferred
• Specialty Skills:

  • Experience managing multiple concurrent responsibilities in a central inpatient pharmacy
  • Verifying EPIC orders, checking technician work, answering pharmacist phone calls
  • Providing inpatient and outpatient IVs, compounding inpatient unit dose medications
  • Coverage includes multiple hospital orders across various units: Inpatient and Outpatient Surgery, Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, ED
• Charting System: Epic required
• Personal Attributes: Hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, social

• Orientation week (GSA not applicable)
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Flu season policy: Travelers declining flu and COVID vaccinations must wear a mask at all times per facility policy; non-compliance may result in corrective action
