Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel RN role in the Emergency Room in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
• 13-week contract.
• 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM.
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week.
• No local candidates within a 40-mile radius.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience).
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year.
• BLS.
• ACLS.
• PALS.
• NIHSS.

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC.
• Epic experience.

Schedule / Call / Weekend Requirements

• 1 twelve-hour call shift every other week.
• Every 3rd or 4th weekend.
• 1 Fall/Winter holiday.

Unit Details

• Fast-paced Emergency Department caring for approximately 90 patients per day.
• Travelers work as part of the core ED team and should be prepared to function independently after department orientation.
• Assignments and patient placement may change throughout the shift based on volume, acuity, and department needs.
• Black scrubs.

Additional Notes

• COVID-19 vaccine not required, subject to change.
• Facility can cancel up to 36 hours within a 13-week period.
