Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology Lab

Location: Decatur, Georgia
Employment Type: Long Term Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
On-Call: Yes, 1 week per month rotation
Expected Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description

Provide complex technical care to meet patient needs in the Interventional Radiology Lab.
Perform multiple diagnostic procedures in the appropriate sequence and time frame.
Operate imaging and specialty equipment properly and stay current with medical device uses.
Must be able to float to other nearby locations as needed.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist, including experience within the last year.
Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
Experience with coronary CTA (Computed Tomography Angiography).
Endovascular experience.

Additional Information

Credentialing required by the Wednesday prior to a Monday start date.

Hospital-provided dress code.
40 guaranteed work week for current open positions.
RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential accepted as a skill set for this position.
