Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Work Setting

Primarily onsite, with some mobile visits depending on participant needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience in a clinical setting with a frail or elderly population
• Physical Therapy Assistant experience within the last year
• Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program
• If the degree was earned outside the U.S., it must be evaluated as the U.S. equivalent
• Valid California Physical Therapy Assistant license

Key Responsibilities

• Administer treatment programs established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist with vital signs, range of motion, and strength testing
• Coordinate rehabilitation activities and programs based on individual treatment plans
• Document therapy interventions and complete required documentation accurately and on time
• Provide training on therapeutic equipment to staff, participants, and caregivers/families
• Track equipment maintenance and support scheduling, clinical visits, and billing
• Communicate changes in participant condition or functional status to the supervising team promptly
