Mental Health Coordinator

Location: Las Animas, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Summary

As a Mental Health Coordinator, you will plan and provide clinical mental health services of a non-medical nature. Responsibilities include conducting mental health screenings and assessments, developing and modifying individual treatment plans, documenting treatment activities, maintaining confidentiality, and providing counseling and crisis interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments through record reviews and clinical interviews.
• Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans based on evaluations.
• Document treatment and evaluation activities in health care records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Apply psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatment.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis interventions.

Required Qualifications

Licensure/Certification

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Colorado, or
• Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC) license, or
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) license.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) within the last year, or
• Experience as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPC), or
• Experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Other

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license is preferred unless otherwise required.
