  • Shifts: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
  • Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
  • Total Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

  • Provide specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patients under general to limited supervision.
  • Deliver safe, high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered care in various settings including acute inpatient, outpatient physician practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote outreach clinics.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician orders.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures following scope of practice guidelines.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews independently to ensure completeness, documentation, and technical quality per protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical data/findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, and high-level disinfecting according to manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research to maintain competencies and improve care.
  • Provide instruction, mentorship, and in-service training to less experienced team members.
  • Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist, with experience within the last year.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Cons

The unit I was on was mostly made up of travel nurses, which they seem the hire some of the laziest people I’ve ever met. There is a reason they offer such a high pay rate because this place is horrible.
