Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Staffing - Supplier Sourced
Contract Length: Approximately 9 weeks
Job Description
The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical assistance to Radiologists, and maintains ultrasound equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and examining patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols
- Operating, adjusting, cleaning, and making minor repairs to ultrasound equipment
- Ensuring adequate supplies are available
- Assisting with orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound staff
- Capturing images and transferring them to physicians' workstations
- Scheduling examinations and coordinating patient transportation as needed
- Performing other related duties as required
