Job Opportunity: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: New York, NY

Job Description

The Ultrasound Technologist performs or assists in ultrasound examinations, provides technical assistance to Radiologists, and maintains ultrasound equipment. Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and examining patients for ultrasound procedures following departmental protocols
Operating, adjusting, cleaning, and making minor repairs to ultrasound equipment
Ensuring adequate supplies are available
Assisting with orientation and mentoring of new ultrasound staff
Capturing images and transferring them to physicians' workstations
Scheduling examinations and coordinating patient transportation as needed
Performing other related duties as required
