- 12-hour shifts
Role Summary
- Staff Registered Nurse (RN) caring for a group of patients on the Neuro 8C unit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
- Neuro PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Neurology experience
Preferred Education
- BSN

- Complete patient assessments and develop plans of care
- Implement nursing interventions and patient care procedures
- Update care plans based on ongoing evaluation
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation
- Support patient and employee safety
- Communicate directly and privately when needed
- Provide constructive feedback to peers
- Identify and address personal learning needs
- Meet departmental competency requirements
