Overview
- Location: Syracuse, New York
- Employment type: Long term
- Shift: Days, 07:00–19:30
- Hours: 36 per week
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Unit / Placement
- Med/surg placement; unit placement will be discussed based on the traveler’s previous experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid LPN / LVN license in New York
- Med Surg (1 year of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in an inpatient setting
Schedule Requirements
- Work every other weekend
- Work some holidays
Role Expectations
- Perform majority of patient care functions needed in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
- Greet patients and direct them to exam rooms
- Prepare for exams
- Set up trays for injections
- Measure and record patient progress
- Take and record vital signs
