Location: Syracuse, New York
Employment type: Long term
Shift: Days, 07:00–19:30
Hours: 36 per week
Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit / Placement

Med/surg placement; unit placement will be discussed based on the traveler’s previous experience.

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in New York
Med Surg (1 year of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in an inpatient setting

Schedule Requirements

Work every other weekend
Work some holidays

Role Expectations

Perform majority of patient care functions needed in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
Greet patients and direct them to exam rooms
Prepare for exams
Set up trays for injections
Measure and record patient progress
Take and record vital signs
