Position Details

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)
Specialty: Wound Care & Enteral Specialist
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Number of Openings: 1
Call Requirements: None
Float Requirements: None
Dress Code: Navy scrubs; facial tattoos, jeans, sweats, and similar attire are not acceptable

Equipment Used: Wound care supplies, wound vacs

Required Qualifications & Experience

State Licensed RN
WCC National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy certification OR CWOCN Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse
BLS certification
Minimum 3 years nursing experience, including:
- Wound care assessments
- Dressing recommendations
- Wound vac application and changes
- Ostomy changes and patient teaching

Preferred Skills

Experience with wounds and ostomies

Additional Information

All onboarding education modules must be completed prior to the first day
Reporting location is the main entrance; employees must obtain an ID badge and park in designated employee parking areas

This position offers an opportunity to work in a specialized wound care unit within a large 200-bed facility, focusing on comprehensive wound and ostomy care.
