Important State Requirements

• All clinical staff must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the fingerprint check is being processed.
• Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for fingerprint results but must be supervised during this period.
• Background check process is mandatory and coordinated through the New Mexico Department of Health.
