Travel RN - Emergency Room

Location: Austin, Texas
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night Shift)
Hours: 36 hours per week
Schedule: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Float Requirement: Must float to facility FSEDs as needed

Unit: Emergency Department
Number of Beds: 32+
Number of Staff: 117 total
- Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT
- Mid Shift: 2 CNCs, 15 RNs, 2 Medics, 2 PCTs
- Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT
Patient Ratios: 4:1
EMR System: Meditech
Permanent Positions Available: Yes

ACLS
BLS
NIH Certification
PALS
TNCC
Registered Nurse License

Experience Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Emergency Room nursing
Prior travel experience not required (no explicit mention)

Must have:
- TNCC by start date
- ENPC by start date
- ACLS, BLS
Preferred:
- Greater than 2 years experience considered first
Typical procedures performed:
- Lumbar Puncture (LP)
- Intubations
- TNK administration
- Laceration repair

- Splinting
