Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit Staffing:
- 2 unit secretaries (0600-2200 daily)
- Patient care techs available at all times, fluctuating based on census
Type of Equipment:
- Telemetry for each room
- Dynamaps for vital signs
- Glucometers
- iMobile phones
- Bladder scanner
Documentation System: Meditech
Scheduling Requirements:
- 12-hour shifts (7 AM - 7 PM)
- Every other weekend and holidays required
Floating Policy: Nurses may float to other units as needed
