• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 40 (guaranteed)
• Weekend Hours: As needed

Facility & Unit Information

• Unit: Physical Therapy Department
• Number of Beds: 36
• Patient Ratios: 5 to 6 patients per therapist
• Patient Population: Geriatric, adult
• Common Diagnoses/Treatments:

  • Neurological: CVA, Parkinson’s, Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Orthopedics
  • Cardiopulmonary
  • Amputee
  • Medically Complex
• Equipment: Therapeutic Equipment
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Wellsky

Requirements

• Licensure: Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or related field
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in physical therapy (preferred in all aspects, but not strictly required)
• Skills:

  • Ability to assess patient needs and initiate appropriate physical therapy interventions
  • Responsible for care oversight of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs
  • Strong communication skills (English required; additional languages preferred)
  • Team player with cooperative personality
• Prior Travel Experience: Not explicitly required
