Location: Arlington, Texas
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Surgery & Endoscopy
Number of ORs: 10 ORs / 2 Endoscopy suites
Staff varies by shift
Day Shift Staff Example: 1 Charge RN, 3 RNs, 2 CNAs, 1-3 sitters, CSTs, Anesthesia techs, orderly, equipment techs
Night Shift Staff: Charge RN, RNs, CSTs
Patient Ratio: 1:1
Equipment: Operating Room (OR) equipment
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech

Job Description

All types of surgical procedures performed except transplants
Flexible and team-oriented personality preferred
On-call and holiday coverage required

Required Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) Certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CVOR Technologist
CVOR Technologist experience within the last year
Experience with Meditech EMR system

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Neuro and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) procedures
Experience with Vascular and advanced surgical procedures

Additional Information

No floating to other areas
Hospital provides scrubs (dress code)
