Job Opportunity: Medical Technologist - Lab (Travel)

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Perform routine and special laboratory tests on clinical specimens to aid in diagnosis and patient monitoring.
• Conduct analyses in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology.
• Perform venipuncture, finger stick, or heel stick as requested by physicians.
• Maintain accurate and current documentation for maintenance, quality control, and proficiency testing.
• Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, test analysis, reporting, and record keeping.
• Identify and correct problems affecting test performance or notify supervisors immediately.
• Adhere to quality control policies and document all activities, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Weekend rotations as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Technologist, including experience within the last year.
• Experience working in an Acute Care setting.
• Current ASCP or AMT certification relevant to Medical Technologist.
