ICU unit with 21 beds and 45 staff members
Day shift: 1 Charge Nurse (no patient assignment), 6-8 nurses
Night shift: similar staffing as day shift
Nurse-to-patient ratio:
- Standard ICU: 2:1
- Step-down patients: 3:1
- Very high acuity: 1:1
Equipment used: Hospira IV pumps
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system: Meditech
Intensivist coverage 24/7
Magnet designated small community hospital
Patient population mostly elective cases

Valid RN license in Colorado
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience within the last year
Acute Care experience
Current certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification

36 hours per week
Required to work every 3rd weekend and one major winter holiday
Self-scheduling with some floating to Telemetry and other hospitals within the system

This position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive ICU environment with a strong team and advanced critical care resources.
